In March, I introduced the new Timothy Two edition of the Re-Forma workshop to a group of pastors who had already completed Timothy Two’s “Growing in Grace” series. We used a number of small-group-based learning activities to introduce the 35 outcomes in the workshop. Over the next 4-6 months, our National Missionary Partners will assist the participants to complete the thirty-five impact-based outcomes in biblical knowledge, ministry skills and personal character.
From the Re-Forma website: “Studies show that over 90% of all pastors do not have a formal theological education. According to statistics, that equates to well over 2 million Protestant pastors worldwide. In addition, every year thousands of new Protestant churches are established, very often without a trained pastor or preacher. The biggest crisis facing the evangelical, global church today is the fact that most pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders are undertrained or not trained at all. Re-Forma has set as its goal to fundamentally remedy this situation.”
