Daniel L. Sonnenberg, Regional Director for Timothy Two Project International in Latin America
I traveled back to Guayaquil, Ecuador in South America April 16-21 to introduce our advanced workshop, Re-Forma, to a group of 15 pastors. During our three days together, we introduced all 35 “outcomes” that every pastor needs to know, do and be.
The 35 outcomes are organized into five categories: 1) Knowing the Scriptures, usually called Biblical Theology, Old Testament and New Testament Surveys; 2) Living by Faith, usually called Practical Theology, Hermeneutics, Children’s Ministry, Church Management, Relationships; 3) Outreach, usually called Evangelism, Missions, Discipling; 4) Listening and Encouraging, usually called Counseling, Family; and, 5) Trustworthy Faith, usually called Systematic Theology, Ethics, Church History, Stewardship. As you can see, it is a very complete workshop!
Our National Missionary Partner, Pastor Juan Jimenez, will meet with this group for 24 more hours in four 6-hour sessions during May and June to help them complete all 35 individual assignments in order to receive their certificates.
