One Cohort Ends, Another One Starts

Last month we celebrated the graduation of a small group of pastors and church leaders from Villa El Salvador for Re-Forma‘s Certificate for Biblical Ministry. The training covered all the basics for ministry: Bible, theology, counseling, evangelism, missions, etc. The training was comprehensive, but the process was not easy. In total, it took us a year and a half of weekly meetings every Friday evening. And, so, the original dozen participants shrank to half by the end of the process. Nevertheless, there is no doubt of the commitment of the group that graduated. Praise the Lord for raising such leaders! (You can see a picture of the group below.)

We are now training two other groups for the same certificate. And the idea is that these graduates will replicate in their own contexts the training that they received so that more and more church leaders could be equipped. Please join us in praying that the Lord will continue to use both formal education and non-formal training like Re-Forma and TLT to equip and strengthen his church across Peru and indeed all of Latin America.
